Last night I was able to talk to my mom and my sister for about an hour. They were in College Station taking care of my yard before they headed back to Dallas. My mom is going to help my sister move into her new apartment. I was excited to talk to my sister finally because we haven't been able to Skype since I've been here. Her computer and her iPhone are messed up! Then, I stayed up till about 1:30 or 2:00 AM just hanging out with friends outside in the garden. We were discussing all of our weekend travels. The group from Paris had tons of stories to tell! They had an extremely eventful weekend. This morning I slept until 11:30 AM. I planned to wake up around 8 and finish my field trip report #3, but that didn't happen. At noon, I went to Pizza Hut with Brad, Jake, Kirstin, Ann, and Liz for the lunch buffet. It was delicious! I had a salad, pizza, and a Pepsi Light. Then Brad and I walked to the shopping street so I could buy my sister's "big" gift from Europe. I hope she loves it; I sure do! On our way back it started raining and got really cool. When we got back to the house we both worked on our papers. Then we went to DelHaize together (hopefully for the last time) to get some food for this week. I got some fruit, a couple juice boxes, a bag of baked Lays, and some sandwich stuff. I even used teh self check out today at the grocery store. I feel like I have come such a long ways! Then we came back to the house. I peeled and ate my pomegranted that I bought last week and made a sandwich for dinner. I had planned to go to the book store today to find a book in English for the plane ride home since I already finished the book that Brad's mom let me borrow for the trip. I never made it though since all the stores close at 6 PM. I finally finished my paper right before we went to the grocery store and I emailed it to the professors. Tonight, Brad and I are going to do our laundry together. We need to get all the sand off of everything! Katie and Kelsey made it back from Rome a little while ago. I haven't had a chance to talk to her about their weekend yet though. I have been watching the Bachelorette Episode 9 since they got back. I am super excited to see who Ali will pick in the Season Finale which airs in about 6 hours, I think!
Tomorrow and Wednesday we have class. On Thursday, we are all leaving on a bus to go to Bruge for our last field trip. However, this one is an overnight field trip. I am excited to go to Bruge. They are known for their lace. I can't wait to see it. I think we are getting back on Friday evening around 6 PM or so. Hopefully, on Saturday we can take a day trip to Brussels. I have been wanting to see it very bad. Then we have school next Tuesday, finals on Wednesday, clean up our dorms on Thursday, and go back to Texas on Friday. Crazy huh? Time has been flying by!!! Brad reminded me of something today. He said, "When we get back to Texas we are going to eat Mexcian food and watch some Fightin' Texas Aggie Football." Yaaayyyyy! I would like to mention that I am having a wonderful time here in Belgium. I truly love it in Leuven. It is beautiful and the people are so nice. I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. I love and miss you :)
This is a picture of me with my wonderful family on my Fightin' Texas Aggie Ring Day. I miss them so much :)
