Wok Dynasty and Beer Pong

The first picture below is from a student soccer game in our garden (or backyard) at the student house on Sunday night, I believe. I took it out my bedroom window. The second picture is of the restaurant we ate at last night and the third one is our group before eating. The last two pictures are from the beer pong tournament that we played last night at a bar in the square.

Dinner was very good. There were about thirty of us total that came. There was a hot food buffet with all kinds of meats and salads on it. It also had lots of sushi. There was also an all you can eat wok line. You filled your plate with raw vegetables and raw meat and then gave it to the guys who steamed it up and fried it with the sauce of your choice. They had noodles and rice that you can add with it. I picked broccoli, zucchini, chicken, and shrimp. I got an oyster sauce. Then I added rice with it. It was very good. They also had a large choice of desserts including ice cream and fruit. They also had several soups to choose from. And lastly, they had a grill where you could get all kinds of exotic meats. They had kangaroo meat but I decided to pass on it.

After dinner, we came back to the student house for a few minutes. I graded some of the homeworks from yesterday. Everyone made a 100! Then we went to the bar in the square that has a beer pong set up. We bought a case of Cristal beer bottles. We used those to play beer pong. I was not going to play because I didn't feel well. However, our RA, Vincent, did not have a partner so I played with him. We won 2 games in a row and then lost our 3rd one. It was a very good time. The square was PACKED last night because today is a holiday and no one has to work.

This morning I got up at 6:30 AM, put on my swimsuit and then went upstairs to find out what time we were leaving for the train to the beach. But, Ann and Liz wanted to just stay here and relax for the day. So I went back to sleep for 5 more hours!!! Oh well. Currently, we are setting up a blow up pool and a slip-n-slide in our backyard/garden. It should be a fun day. I also need to finish up my seminar report and email it today. I was finally able to talk to my mom on Skype this morning. It felt awesome. Her and my dad might call me back when he wakes up for work. Tomorrow my mom is taking my cousin Lea to get her wisdom teeth out before she starts college in August. I want to wish her the best of luck! As for now, Happy Belgium Independence Day to all! Love from Leuven :)

  1. Beer pong can be played anywhere you want. Just have a table, cups, ping pong balls and players then you’re ready to go. Also get some beer to enjoy it more.
